The percent hasn't changed since the last time I posted this a few weeks ago. But I've been adding words and taking away words, so it's hardly accurate, but whatever. Helps me see some tangible progress? Meh.

I feel like I stick my foot in my mouth far more often than I should for someone my age, both offline and on.

I never mean to say something that could be taken in the wrong way, but it happens to me. A lot.

I just got an email back from the agent I mentioned in the previous entry. Just one line, but it let me know that he is still reading after chapter one! Woohoo!

On an artistic note, rufftoon has some fabulous Avatar art on her DeviantArt gallery with comics too! Just beware of Season 2 finale spoilers.

Awhile back, I was googling for some tips on creating a good opening chapter and happened to come across Flogging the Quill, the blog of a freelance editor who takes the first 16 lines of your novel and will tell you if it was compelling enough to turn the page.
