► This afternoon I got a surprising phone call. Instead of hearing back from the social worker, I got a call from a doctor (I assume he's a psychologist, but he didn't actually say). Apparently the weekly mental health department meeting had just ended and he was the doctor assigned my case, so he called to set up an appointment early next month ( Read more... )

► Almost every day I briefly think about my mother, and her death in 2002. Yesterday I was thinking about her and the loss, but it didn't occur to me that it was actually the anniversary of the day she died, October 28th, 2002.
