Here's my latest electoral map (cartogram). With only twelve days until the election, patterns now established are going to be harder to break.

This one's crafted to put the states closer to their original positions, and to have something vaguely resembling their shapes.  (Well, okay, neither Pennsylvania nor Wisconsin looks anything remotely like that; but it's a start.)

Here's the latest electoral map. (It doesn't take the Vice Presidential debate into account, but then, who cares?)

Zogby has become useless because they don't post their latest poll numbers, so I've switched to the fivethirtyeight.com site, which lists basically every poll for every state for months.  I look at the last two or three polls for each ( Read more... )

Since the debate is apparently on, and since it is likely to change the polls one way or the other, I thought I'd supply a pre-debate electoral map.

Here's an updated electoral map.

The best recent data (in my opinion) comes from Sep. 13th Zogby polls taken in Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
