I am so loving class with Tammy. Teri and I get our weekly drive up to hang out, I get pushed to get better and smarter and here are your holes ;) And what can I say, being there makes me feel loved, which is exactly what I need right now.

2 trials down, 2 to go. Having a baby is the best thing ever to happen to my agility. Put so much in obvious perspective. A view I tried so many times to have ("it's just a local trial") and so often failed at. Peach was a superstar and I am so so SO excited for us ( Read more... )

What I love most about this run is to see the growth in Peach's jumping skills. She is showing a lot of maturity in measuring distances between jumps and not rushing it. I've always liked her natural jump style, but she started off dropping 1-2 bars a course, and she really is growing up (on that regard ( Read more... )

Beam gave me the greatest pre-baby gift possible - the ADCH! He can now continue to just be awesome, just be him, with very little pressure. He also gained a Steeple and Biathlon Q despite some wardrobe malfunctions (shirt not staying over the bump and the pants headed south, whoops!), so progress towards nationals. I had a great opportunity to work Yankee and Peach at the fun match today. Super low key though both girls were pretty amped after our crazy last 4 weeks of barely doing anything. And that's what I needed - them amped like a trial. Yankee got some great dog walk reps in besides the horrific angle I gave her and she barely made it up than refused it ( Read more... )

Enjoying that it's finally cooling off in the evening. Monster puppy fits in well with the crew, respects the boundaries though is persistent that Yankee wants her mouth licked out, and is hardy enough to play with Beam and Peach now. Course building definitely makes the time go by fast! I am so grateful to work with good people though, certainly makes the entire weekend more fun. The surface was hugely improved, and the starters ring judge did a good job adapting to some challenging mud bogs.
