I did something that I have rarely done in my fannish life and that is watched subtitled anime.  I didn't download fansubs.  I watched Code Geass in Japanese with Subtitles and I must say that it is better in Japanese than in English.  This was an LA dub, so you thought it would bring more variety to the pool and more talent.  I have watched a ( Read more... )

I went to see Hellboy II today.  I thought the first Hellboy movie was pretty good, but I didn't think it would get sequeled due to how it did (only $60 million in total).  People seem to like the film and it did well enough in DVD to greenlight a sequel.  It was worth the wait to see and the risk for Sony to do a sequel.  I really enjoyed the film ( Read more... )
