Well a rare weekend update here. I was gonna put another entry in Friday. but Friday for me turned into a sh*t-on-me day.

Well talked to the folks at Dale and Ron's apparently I missed on my diagnosis of the problem with the car - it was the starter. Good News : They will have it done today (yeah!) Bad News: It will cost $250 - yikes - that plus tow takes the total cost of repairs up to $300. Ouch! We can handle it (Thank God Pay Day week) but still its a bit of ( Read more... )

Sigh... Last night the neutral safety switch (I think) on our car gave out. Basically this model has a little detector that won't let the car start when it thinks you are not in neutral or park. The symptoms I have researched fit that pattern. So I had it towed to the auto shop and they will look at it. I am hoping that it will be a quick and cheap ( Read more... )
