About 6 years ago, I resigned from my previous hospital to pursue my residency training elsewhere. I was suggested a certain public hospital that wasn't accredited yet, but was told that they were working on it. I had nowhere else to go, and the only thing in my mind was "I want to be a surgeon". So for this year’s New Year’s resolutions, since last year I don’t think I even fulfilled any one of them...

I have none. Forget New Year’s resolutions. I will do what I gotta do. It doesn’t have to be this year or the next or whenever, as long as I will do them.

2. LEARN JAPANESE

3. BECOME A HEPATOBILIARY SURGEON
