The past week has been super busy and I am trying so hard to hold on and keep moving forward. Residency is just so hard at my age right now, especially when you've been at it for more than 5 years.

About 6 years ago, I resigned from my previous hospital to pursue my residency training elsewhere. I was suggested a certain public hospital that wasn't accredited yet, but was told that they were working on it. I had nowhere else to go, and the only thing in my mind was "I want to be a surgeon". I'm still on the road to recovery for my wrist, motion-wise. The wound has now scarred and I can use my right hand more. I just need to get back my full range of motion.

A few weeks ago, it was officially announced that I have been rolled back to a 1st year surgery resident.

Ha.

I hate alcohol.

It’s disgusting. But now I see, sometimes I just need it to get things out of my head; such as the new demon that’s formed within me.
