I just got done re-reading Gregory Maguire's Wicked. Wow. That is such a great book. A little depressing at the end, but I think it would lose some of its power if it weren't. And it's not as if you don't know from the start that the Witch is going to die. Still, Elphaba is one of the most memorable characters I've read in a long, long time. ( Read more... )

Well, I'm on the computer to either work on my writing, or start the webcomic I've been planning for about a month. Yet somehow I can't bring myself to do either. I think I have too much on my mind for the writing, and I can't find most of my notes for the comic. Well, I'm finally managing to get some real work on my story, this past week. I've actually done a lot of research, and was able to sit down and do some plotting, figure out some plot points I wasn't sure of.
