Professor Snape's wand (
Another image.)
This is a beautiful wand. I love the ornate carvings. This is one of the few replicas on Noble Collections' site (including LoTR stuff) that I'd actually buy. And that's not a bad price either. If only I had money to blow.
Doing a good amount of work on my writing. Today, research on traditional Japanese houses, and also on Japanese strolling gardens. Matt Miller called yesterday before I went into work, and I haven't talked to him in ages - since April, when we went to Dayton for his and Lana's wedding. We talked about the writing we're both doing. His is based on Christian/Hebrew mythology, concerning the descendents of angels and men from early Biblical times. There's a name for them, but I've forgotten it. Neph- something. Oh well. Sounds very interesting. It was good to talk to Matt. Too bad we live so many states apart. He seemed very interested in my Japanese folklore research as well, so I'm going to try to get to a point where I can send Matt what I've written, see what he makes of it.
I'm going to be making a new icon for this livejournal soon. I really only use two of the ones I have now.
About all for now. First day of my weekend today. And then, this Wednesday,
Fables #40. The Adversary. Identity. Revealed. Enough said.
