Today makes the, like, 854th day of below freezing temperatures, and it's starting to get old.  The news people say it'll get up into the mid to upper 30s today, but they're all liars.

Quick update: I haven't disappeared.  Family's in town until Wednesday morning, so I'll be busy guiding tours and showing off what Columbus has to offer (ahem, all you OSUers can just be quiet; we'll find stuff to do, you'll see).

So I turned in yet another paper yesterday, then came home, passed out for three hours, made dinner, downed some firewater, then passed out for another ten hours.  Now I'm making lunch and contemplating crawling back into bed.

Spring Break draws to a close, and tomorrow I start yet another new quarter at school.  A week of sleep, video games (X-Men: Legends and Call of Duty: Finest Hour) and DVDs (the first season of The X-Files), all gone.  I suppose I'm looking forward to teaching new classes (my last round wore out their welcome pretty quickly), and I guess I'm ready ( Read more... )

I've been meaning to update this for days now, but there's just not much going on to write about.  Vacations rock.  But let's see:

• Tuesday night - After watching about fourteen hours of the National Geographic Channel and transcribing piles of class notes onto my laptop, dinner with abigor60 and cheshire_monkey.  Mongolian BBQ with bad service; can't beat that.
