Current is now going through a Bible study on Romans 12 by Chip Ingram called "True Spirituality". I was fairly convicted tonight. This first session was about surrender. Going to see Caleb was a vacation. We had so much fun and ate tons of delicious food (though honestly I'm sick of eating out now). Caleb and Virginia are so cute together. Despite the wonderful weather (compared to Chicago) being home has held more sadness than I expected. Even amidst the joy of seeing extended family and friends at church my first two days of being home have almost constantly had an undertone of pain. Emily is the main reason. I feel so perfectly content and happy right now. Guess it's just one of those special graces God gives us. I am so glad to not be feeling depressed like I was when I was sick last week that now it seems as if joy comes in big bundles. Friday night was pretty fun. All of us from Redwood (and Andy) went on an adventure because we had to wait so long for dinner. Well, I felt pretty depressed this morning after everything that happened with Andy last night. It kind of felt like being homesick, just longing for somebody.
