Yesterday, I walked from the Camden Centre to UCL to Trafalgar Square and back home - that's 6km.

Had dinner at the Residence of the Japanese Ambassador to the International Organizations...and it was amazing. Everything that they served was Japanese and everything was of the absolute highest quality. I feel like a mass of contradictions. Life has been extremely good to me here, despite the 6-month winter (longest in 69 years!) and I have a fantastic core group of intern friends with whom I have lunch and go out on weekends. It can get unbelievably lonely here. today i went to fika for the first time in months, and had my usual skagen.
