Still in OWS. Still don't know what's wrong with me. Go for more bloodwork in the morning. Back down to StC Wednesday evening, pack as much as I can. Back up to OWS Thur night/Fri morning, doctor's appointment Friday afternoon. Find out if I need more tests, surgery, or what. Back down to StC. I've been off school and work all week, after a visit to the ER Sunday/Monday. They did an ultrasound and bloodwork to rule out another bloodclot. I went to the Prompt Care Clinic today for Xrays. I've been given pain killers and exercises to do, and might need orthotics. I've got a heelspur (which is extra bone growth in the heel) and palantar ( Read more... )

I am officially a Hillside Coordinator this year, which means I get full access to all areas, free beer/wine tickets, real food, a free "kin" pass, etc. etc. It means more work, but having been a crew chief the past two years, I'm up for it. OMG, Hillside's having another of those pre-festival fundraising concerts. Last time the headliner was the Barenaked Ladies. This year, it's The Tragically Hip, supported by The Weakerthans and Buck 65. What a fantastic warm up to the zenith of summer entertainment!
