Went back to the podiatrist today.  Still nothing on the x-rays, still idea why my foot hurts, so now I'm scheduled for an MRI on January 4th.  This is definitely putting a damper on my fitness plans for 2011; it's hard to engage in vigorous physical activity with a walking cast on your foot.  I hope we can get to the bottom of this puzzle quickly ( Read more... )

We spent the entire day shopping.  Well, maybe not the entire day - I did go to Mass this morning - but we did spend the entire afternoon stimulating the economy.  We had three main shopping goals today, and I am please to report we accomplished all of them.

Today:

Chris Muetz's funeral at 11:00am.  We got there shortly after 10:00am, which gave us time to visit and to pay our final respects before the service started.  They definitely needed more seating, although I'm not sure where they would have put any more chairs; it was SRO around the edges of the room.

The Blue Gill are FINALLY coming back to Lake Elizabeth.  I noticed increased numbers of fry this weekend when I buried Foster in his little paper boat on Sunday (an entirely different story altogether), which made me happy.  I know the majority of patrons couldn't care less about the health of our natural ponds, lakes, and other waterways - ( Read more... )

I'm sure you're all getting sick of hearing about my mundane household chores, but that's all I got for you today. I did laundry. Lots and lots and lots of laundry.
