Today:
Chris Muetz's funeral at 11:00am. We got there shortly after 10:00am, which gave us time to visit and to pay our final respects before the service started. They definitely needed more seating, although I'm not sure where they would have put any more chairs; it was SRO around the edges of the room.
Flute lesson with Katie at 3:00pm.
Children's Choir at 4:30pm. The church was freezing today and I didn't have time to change clothes after the funeral, so I was extra chilly today.
Evening Prayer at 7:30pm. We'll have Liturgy of the Hours Evening Prayer for the next 2 Fridays in a row.
Tomorrow:
Take the car in to the garage ASAP. It's jerking and surging and generally not running right. I don't want to drive any great distances until we fix whatever is going on.
PROJECT Trio at Fermilab in Batavia at 8:00pm. PROJECT Trio is led by beat-box flutist Greg Pattillo and I can't wait to see this live! Let's face it: I'm a sucker for damn fine flute playing in just about any genre. There are still tickets left if anyone wants to join us. We are also soliciting dinner companions for tomorrow evening near to the area, so if anyone is interested, give us a shout.
Sunday:
Children's Choir sings at the 9:00am Mass.
Monday:
Visitation for Darren's mom in Milwaukee at 4:30pm. Carl can't get off for another midday funeral, so we're opting to go to the visitation instead so that both of us can offer out condolences together. I'll have to cancel my 4:00m flute lesson with Melissa, but it can't be helped. We won't be able to stay for too long though, because we have...
Adult Recorder Ensemble rehearsal at 6:30pm. I don't dare cancel this one since we have to take off so much time later on towards Thanksgiving and I want us to sound our best for Christmas.
Tuesday:
Flute lesson with Rebecca at 3:30pm.
PLP class in Norridge at 7:30pm. I love the fact that my commute is only an hour each way (it used to take me 2.5 hours!).
Wednesday:
Flute lesson with Shannon at 6:00pm.
Choir at 7:30pm.
Thursday:
Flute lesson with Claire at ? - It's Veteran's Day, so she wants to have her lesson earlier in the day so the family can have the evening free, but I can't guarantee I can give a lesson any earlier until I can be certain we won't have a funeral at the church that morning. I'll just have to play that one by ear.
Youth Recorder Ensemble at 5:00pm.
Stained Glass Class at 7:00pm.

There's my preliminary schedule for the next week, not including things like work and chores and such. I hope I can fit everything in and still have time to eat and sleep.
