 To those who have been following my recently unactivated Facebook feed, you may know that I started selling some old records. Mainly metal and obscure hard rock from Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Well today, I made my FIRST SALE! Avantasia's  "The Metal Opera"

Yesterday was full of win for me, because it made me realize a couple things:

Wearing a uniform, or abiding to a dress code with strict instructions on how to present one's self, really placed me in a different level of interaction with others. I hate wearing tights with a skirt, suit shirt and jacket but among other people it's a whole other deal. ( Read more... )

It's both easy and hard, as I'd expected but only in the second week of the program and I already feel strung out. Haven't been able to find inspiration to do anything at all for so long because of this, I know it should get easier once I get used to the stupid hours and the business suit (skirts, boooooo)... Adding length to the leash is great to make your dog feel some freedom when walking at the park.

Just make sure you have plenty of places to go, wear very good walking shoes, and that you're ready to run as fast as your dog.

I just cleaned a massive amount of dust from my computer's air fans. It looked like rust, gray, brownish mats of dust and when you know that 80% of dust is actually human skin it kinda makes your skin crawl.

It also just happened that the main fan attached to the processor was detaching itself, with the screws gone completely loose and the steel ( Read more... )

So today - or yesterday actually - a car blew up right next to my house. It was an old car which engine caught fire in the middle of the fucking road.

So yesterday I painted the hallway and setup a new floor linoleum at home which was tons of fun.

I discovered that paint could be perfumed, this one was cheap and smelled of feet so we mixed lime scented oil to it and it's great. We're hoping it keeps the mosquitos away this summer - away from the hall. Smart, eh?
