So after much angst and rage my passport applications in finally sent off. It had gotten to the point where I was considering spending the definitely-over-$600 it would cost to set up in Newfoundland a bit early. But crisis averted! Well, this weekend was the Ottawa International Buskers Festival. Today I woke up before nine and immediately began working on the 5 page essay of my art-history takehome that was due at 4pm. I got it done in about 3 hours, then went to Duncan's to print it out, as my house is seriously lacking in the printer paper department. It was/is gorgeous out. Hot, sunny, just beautiful. So I seem to have underestimated the task i set before myself. I forgot that, um, fabric, unlike a wall, absorbs paint. So painting a piece of pseudo-wool that is 1 meter by 2 or three meters takes a very long time and requires more than a little one liter tin of paint.
