I just got back from my second appointment and am 12w6d. My son was born at 36w4d so technically "premature." He weighed 6lb7oz at birth and had no problems or complications but because of this, my doctor suggested that I start taking progesterone shots starting at my next visit until I am 37 weeks. So I got my bloodwork back today that I took on monday. Monday was 5 weeks 2 days and my HCG was 7106 but my progesterone was 12.4, which my dr considers borderline low. They gave me supositories to take twice a day for 6 weeks. I am freaking out because I have miscarried before at 17 weeks. Hopefully they work and everything works out ok. Anyone ( Read more... )

At 12dpo my beta was 23 and progesterone was 10.5.  The OB gave me a RX for 200mg prometrium once daily and I had my levels redrawn at 16dpo.  HCG was up to 183 (!!!) but progesterone is still only 16.9.  I am really worried and I have had lots of very faintly brown-tinged CM.  I had a loss at 8 weeks over the summer and I am desperate to avoid it ( Read more... )
