Ovarian Cysts

I just found out I am pregnant a week ago (I'm almost 5 weeks), and when I went to my OBGYN to get a blood test to confirm, she wanted to have me get an u/s to make sure that everything looks normal at this point (I had a very small bit of spotting).  Today I got my u/s and they found that I have a large cyst on my left ovary.  The doctor said that cyst is supposed be there, as it produces the progesterone needed to support the pregnancy.   But the problem with the cyst is that it's two times bigger than it's supposed to be and he's worried that it may not be producing enough progesterone.  So my doctor is going to check my progesterone levels to see if I need to take a higher dose (I'm taking 200 mg). Anyway, the doctor said that if this cyst ruptures, I can lose the pregnancy.  I'm terrified of this.  I just don't know what I should and shouldn't be doing to avoid rupturing the cyst.  Has anyone had this happen before and do you have any suggestions?  Thanks :)
