This seems silly to me but I have been told if I were to take a pregnancy test at this point (22, almost 23 weeks) it might come up negative because the hcg can go down to zero at this point? True or no?

So if you recall from my first post I found out on V-day that I'm pregnant. Got a blood test but hcg was only at 25 so they wanted me to come back in on Thursday and re-test, b/c they wanted hcg levels to be at 100 before they moved on. So, this is my second go at being pregnant. First ended after 8 weeks last Jan. This time around, second cycle of Clomid worked, and I found out Monday that I'm early in the game at 4 weeks.

I got my HCG results, and I'm at a 32. They want me to go back in 2 days to see what is going on with the numbers...nothing was seen on the ultra sound, but they said even if it was a viable pregnancy that they wouldn't be able to see it...They were very negative and made me feel pretty much like there was no way this was going to result in a baby ( Read more... )
