Ok so they're sending me off to the high risk doc Tuesday and I was told I would be getting a Level II ultrasound and a chat with a genetic specialist if I'd like one. What exactly does that mean (Level II, I mean)? I was expecting more blood testing because the reason I'm being sent there is my super low platelet count.

I posted last week about my baby having an irregular heartbeat. The good news is the ultrasound showed it happening but not consistently and the doctor was pretty unconcerned. He said PACs (can you pluralize that?) are common and shouldn't affect my pregnancy just to keep up with fetal movement counts etc. He also said I was fine with my caffeine ( Read more... )

Im 32w1d, and was wondering if it was too late to do one of those 3d/4d ultrasounds. I never had one done with my first, 5 years ago..and had every intention of doing one this time around, but somehow time got away from me, and now ive heard that its too late because the baby really does have much room, so its hard to get any clear pictures of her ( Read more... )

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with number 2 and a few weeks back I went for my "big" scan where they check everything. The doctor's office was doing this cute thing where if you wanted to find out boy/girl, they would do that part of the scan, not tell you that day and wrap an ornament for you to open on Christmas as a "present" ...since this is the last ( Read more... )

I want to get a 3d/4d scan so I can have look at my son's face. I have been driven crazy not knowing what he looks like and I would love to get an idea. I was wondering if your's bub face looked anything like it did in the 3d/4d scan?
