Hello!

Hello! I am so happy to be able to join this community... my husband and I had been ttc for over four years, gone through several fertility treatments and went through our own personal hell. We took a break and got the best surprise ever-- I found out last month that I'm pregnant. I couldn't be happier, naturally! I'm somewhere around 6 weeks right now, and will find out for sure on March 1st when I have my first sono.

I had a couple questions that I hope some of you may be able to answer for me. First off, I suffer from endometriosis (a disease where the uterine lining grows in excess outside the uterus- it's very painful), so my cramping is more prominent than in non-endo pregnancies. Does anyone here suffer from endo? What has your pregnancy experience been?

Also, constipation-- wow. I have been constipated before but this is full on crazy. Just wondering what you ladies do for the constipation. Colace doesn't seem to really help me and I guzzle 64oz of water a day (was doing this pre-pregnancy-- I'm kind of a health nut).

I was also shocked when my HCG went from 211 to over 6,000 in one week. Is there anything significant to this or is that pretty normal? My doctor was giddy with that news :)

Thanks in advance for any help/advice! I'm so excited to be here and look forward to learning more and having this baby in October!
