I just finished listening to the audiobook of Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, narrated by Martin Jarvis. I highly recommend this version!

Now I'm about to watch the Netflix version starring David Tennant and Martin Sheen - I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but I'm really glad I "read" the original book first.

Binge-watching is uncharacteristic for me; I'm primarily a reader, and have not watched much TV lately - in fact, I have started and abandoned so many series in the last few years that I was starting to wonder why I couldn't find anything that would engage me like my first fandoms did.

Today I watched eps 33-37 of Guardian. OMG. So much emotion, so many instances of events (and characters) mentioned in passing in previous episodes finally revealing their significance and/or true nature, and tension ratcheting up and up and up.

Still binge-watching Guardian. The primary pairing has been been obvious from the first episode (Zhao Yunlan/Shen Wei), but even before the cage-match, I was assuming that the secondary pairing is Chu/Guo - and then the scene in the absolute zero lab... omg.

Thank you to liz_marcs, who recommended White Collar to me a few weeks ago. I have now seen the first five episodes (about to watch the sixth) and, man, it is FUN!

Whee! Dancing with the Stars started last night with the male celebrities. And tonight, I get to cheer on Kristi Yamaguchi (Olympic gold-medal figure skater) as the women begin competing.

Is anyone else out there watching?
