Dancing with the Stars S5, week 1: the women
Am I the only one watching Dancing with the Stars?
I've been watching DwtS since about midway through season 1. It's always fun to watch the first show of a new season. Some people you've heard of, even more that you haven't, and who knows how they'll do until you actually see them? Before the show, based only on what I'd read, I'd pegged Maks and Mel as early favorites, and had hopes for Jane and Jonathon. And I was right. But I hadn't anticipated Miss Firecracker (Sabrina Bryan) and new pro Mark Ballas - I hadn't heard of either of them, but what a delightful surprise! Even the "worst" (lowest-scoring) couple of the night (Josie and Alec) weren't bad at all -- a far cry from some of the painful performances of seasons past.
As for the men tomorrow, Floyd is being touted as the man to beat... but I've read that Helio and Julianne are a formidable match. We shall see.
