So I can't find a bedspread I like for the nursery - there will be a twin bed in there.  I don't want a duvet cover, because I know this thing is going to need pretty frequent washings and I can't handle Battle of the Duvet Cover that often!  I want a thin bedspread/quilt ( Read more... )

Hey, if anyone is interested, I posted our bathroom re-do on SaucyDwellings today.

While I'm not so sure it's Colonial Funk (as some things, like the fireplace in the following pic, are much too intricate for Colonial style), I'm really digging this new "style" from designer Frank Fontana of (HGTV) "Design on a Dime."  In a design world awash with a lot of mid-century modern, which I do love, but which does NOT fit in my house, ( Read more... )

I got the stained glass window film up last week and haven't gotten around to posting about it until now (sorry Eve!)
I give this stuff an A+, especially considering it was twice as big as the stuff I had to return to Home Depot, and half the price:
