Made two batches of hot buns, half with crosses (hail Eostre), half with a multiplicity of symbols.  A leftover syringe (unused) from field work performed admirably in producing detailed decorations.  The first batch on Friday was practice for a bunfest on Sunday , thickening the paste made more detailed designs possible in the 2nd batch ( Read more... )

• On Friday night (before one of the MIFF films) we happened to pass by the Little Creatures Dining Hall on Brunswick St.  Hadn't heard anything about it, so we had to go in and check it out.  Now I'm seeing reviews everywhere.

1. La Clique this year was almost totally different to last year (or was it the year before?).  Still very good.
2. Finally overcame the taint given it and read The Outsider (#53).  Quite readable (and short).
3. Exhousemate The Pomm(i)e is back in Melbs after almost 3 years (!) back in the homeland.  We had a bbq brekky at our place last weekend to catch up ( Read more... )

Found a suit I might like, but cos I never really pay attention to suits (they're meant to be a uniform, yes? Surely you're meant to blank on them?) I don't know if it'll date badly. Right elbow twinge-y today.

Have to do (write) proposal-y stuff at the moment.  Ick.  Is taking ages.  And feels like a waste of time when I have real work to do.
