November in Alabama
The second day of my visit we went to Cathedral Cavern. Since I'm more than a tad claustrophobic I wasn't sure how that would work out but the ceiling was never less than 25 feet above our heads so I was pretty much able to forget we were a couple hundred feet under the ground ( Read more... ) -
Space the tourist frontier
Thursday we went to Kennedy Space Center. We spent all day and still didn't see everything. Want to go back very soon if only to ride the Shuttle Launch Experience again. Eeeeeeeeeee!

It's a jungle out there...
Eddy & Steffi have been visiting for a week before they head to Alabama to continue E's home leave. Eddy's been introducing Steffi to "American things" this trip. They spent a day at the Bucs training camp and went to a Rays game. Friday we went to Busch Gardens so she could experience "a real roller coaster". Our first stop was Sheikra. ( Read more... ) -
