Hooray for Hollywood
Monday myschai and I met up with kimbari for lunch at Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles. Mmmmm mmmm. Mama Kim, you can pick the eateries from now on. Do white girls eat soul food? Yes ma'am!
After lunch we stayed in Hollywood so that I could throw money at Hollywood Book & Poster. I also made the pilgrimage to see Cate's new star on the Walk of Fame. I have to say the star looked a bit ragged out for only having been in place since Dec 8th. But as much as it pained me to see it in that condition, I did not bust out the 409 and shine it up--that would have been obsessive...and I had no 409...So I settled for taking a picture and leaving some of my disposal income with the nice Aussie behind the counter at Star World.
