I finally saw The Hunger Games today. I read the books back in 2010 during a week when I simply couldn't put them down. I remember going to the gym just so I could put Cole and Audrey in the kid center and be entertained while I read on the bike and elliptical. I suppose I should post a third part to my Ubiquitous End of Year Pop Culture List, which would be movies and books, but honestly I don't watch too many movies nowadays. Sam went to the movies with some friends tonight. Had it been anything other than 'Star Trek' I might have put forth some effort into finding a babysitter so I could attend as well, but I was never really a fan of the original show. Now The Next Generation - my family would sit down for that one every Saturday night, but Kirk and Spock ... eh.

Hmmm ... I didn't know there was a new trailer out. Some HP fan I am. At this point the excitement has ebbed for me. Although, Half Blood Prince is my favorite book in the series and I will probably see the movie multiple times, I just feel like I've waited long enough for it.
