So, I looked it up, because I didn't recognize the lyrics and it's from an album I own, but it's the second disc which is a bunch of live recordings and rarities. I rarely listen to it, so I've actually only heard this tune once (according to last.fm). Thanks for the thinking of me. I 'll definitely give it a second/third and fourth listen now. ;)
As far as Reality Bites goes, I find that if a movie I fell in love with as a teen is re watched years later I view it differently and find it not as enjoyable. That really comes into play when it's a romance. A teen's view on love is much different than that of an adults. It's not quite so rose colored. Still the movie is part of my past, so there is a nostalgia to it that makes me hold on. With Reality Bites there is no nostalgia, so therefore there is nothing to stop me from seeing cheesiness as is. Perhaps if I had fallen in love with it like my friends did then I'd view it differently too. Old aged jadedness sucks. :P
