Does anyone have experiences with either Riverset or Pittsburgh Central Credit Union? Like or dislike? Particular service praise or complaints?

I've finally managed to get my employer to understand that I neither live nor work in the city, so therefore don't have to pay the 3% city taxes. However, it wasn't soon enough and now I have to beg the city finance department for a refund. So, the PA Department of the Treasury has a .gov website. That links to http://www.patreasury.org/. On that site, there's a link to the unclaimed property database, which found $200 that some company owed me, but never paid because I moved before the check reached me.

Figured if the links helped me, someone else out there might catch a windfall,

Does anyone know if there are any local banks that will cash a check made out in Euros? I use National City, but I can't find anything about foreign money on their site. This seems like something that should be a given to know but I've never done it before. Thanks!

Other than participating in experiments at the universities, what are some ways of making quick cash in the Oakland area? the PA state legislature has decided to raise minimum wage 2 bucks an hour by July 2007. But they're not going to raise server minimum AT ALL.
