Another Writer's Block about food!  Two in two days!  I don't have a favorite dessert per say but I love anything with fruit in it.  I think Japanese crepes filled with all sorts of magical stuff are pretty much the best thing in the world.  Man, I miss those suckers.

I love when Writer's Block is about food.  This is easy.  Japanese.  It's healthy and delicious and I've never been sick in Japan ever while I get stomach aches all the time here.

Now that the airplane business is out of the way on to the delicious Japanese food.  It's not hard to eat in Japan as a non fish eating vegetarian.  I even got to tell one adorable lady in our hotel restaurant that I was vegetarian.  She came back and asked "fish?"  "Iie"  And then like a minute later came back and asked "egg?"  "Hai."  Good times.

I've been to Japan the past two years.  When in Japan eat their awesome food!  One thing local to Kamakura (the giant Buddha is there) is the sweet potato ice cream.  I get this every time I go.  Last trip I ventured to try a fried sweet potato.  One thing you should know, in Japan sweet potatoes are purple.  They're pretty awesome tasting too.  ( Read more... )
