They say there's no such thing as a free lunch. But I had one today. I was at the new Cava, at Potomac Yard Shopping Center. My meal was prepared, and as I approached the cash register, the computer went down. After a few minutes of not being able to get it up and running, the cashier told me not to worry about it. And I got to eat for free.

We had a quiet Easter brunch at home yesterday, just the three of us, and a whole lot of food. I made a baked egg dish, similar to a tortilla espanola, scones, fruit salad, colored Easter eggs, and a braided Italian Easter Bread.
