We had a quiet Easter brunch at home yesterday, just the three of us, and a whole lot of food. I made a baked egg dish, similar to a tortilla espanola, scones, fruit salad, colored Easter eggs, and a braided Italian Easter Bread.

I baked BRAIN CUPCAKES this weekend to enter in the Scary Food contest at Sunday's World Famous Krupicka Family Halloween Party. I didn't win, but they were fun to make, nonetheless. As everyone knows, one of the most important tasks in preparing for a hurricane like the one coming through here today involves baking. Here is a chocolate cake I baked to look like a really big cupcake.
