Right, just moved back to Leeds and in the process of sorting out the new house, so all a bit hectic, but while I'm online I want to rec YET ANOTHER wonderful piece by Emilys_List, which I had the honour of beta'ing.  I beta'd another fic for Emilys_List (and took my sweet time over it, believe me). I cannot recommend it more highly. It's Cuddy-centric, with House/Cuddy and House/Wilson, but (for my money at least) it's far more about Cuddy as an individual than it is about ships, and it explores her character trajectory beautifully, from pre-canon to post. So have people seen the first four minutes of the Cuddy episode yet? The first couple of minutes, I did like, but then it went for the cheap gag - and I also felt like Cuddy giving in to Lucas there was not something I see her doing? But whatever, it might be great.

 Gah, I cut myself shaving in the shower (right on the shin), can't go to sleep until my hair dries, broke a jar of honey on the floor which was VERY messy, and am nearly out of clean underwear (my housemate is using the airer and the dryers here are crap, so either I go commando for a couple of days, which I find uncomfortable, or I just buy more ( Read more... )
