MERRY (belated) CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!So Christmas didn't really feel like Christmas this year. Mainly because I wasn't at home for it. I went up the coast on Xmas Eve with my mum's family to my uncle's place in Halliday's Point (five hours it took to get there, five hours). Mum's been arguing with the Department of Housing for years trying to get them to replace the carpet in our house. It's completely worn out, and there are holes and we've been needing new carpet for a long time. Finally, a guy rang up today and said he'd come out and measure the place. This week has been pretty routine which I'm happy about. Work was fairly slow. My boss was really nice and bought us all a really nice lunch yesterday for Christmas.
