This is the first book in the Wicca (or Sweep in America) series. I first discovered this series back in high school and fell in love with it then - as did quite a few of my friends. 54. Howl and Other Poems, Allen Ginsberg
I love these poems. The images that Ginsberg creates are so powerful: "I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness", "angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection". And those are only just within the first few lines of Howl. Fantastic.

So I don't really have much to update with unfortunately. Because I fell asleep, lol.

I finished reading Reckoning at 6:30am. Almost immediately I dropped the book and fell asleep. Woke up at 12:30pm, had a shower and then got back to reading at 1:00pm. So I missed out on six hours of reading time... oops, lol. *amused ( Read more... )
