After spending an unpleasant Christmas and Boxing Day with some sort of stomach bug of doom, I managed to recover, go to Philadelphia for a lovely but exhausting couple of days, and return home last night unhindered by any of the air travel horrors that have assailed so many people in recent days. I got around to re-watching Continuum last night, without the distraction of my mother (who has seen maybe three episodes of SG-1 many years ago) pausing at regular intervals to ask what was going on. ( spoilers )

I imagine most everyone has seen this already, but Don S. Davis died yesterday. I'm shocked and saddened. General Hammond! Agent Scully's dad! And by all reports he was a truly delightful guy. Rest in peace.
