five things make a post
1. Done teaching for 2010!!! Still have what feels like a year's worth of grading to do, though...
2. Last two minutes of last night's Castle: too much even by their own admittedly cheeseball standards? Was there an allusion I failed to catch?
3. Is there a Sydney Bristow vid to Dar Williams's "After All"? If not, I suspect this is a situation that needs to be rectified. (Sydney is growing on me, incidentally. Though she will never approach her mother in my estimation, she might persuade me to watch at least all of season 1 at some point.)
4. Someone is blogging 100 Reasons NOT to go to Grad School. Oh, indeed. (Not, of course, that any of us would have listened; most of these reasons only have traction once you've spent at least four years in grad school.)
5. Apparently Fox has not ordered a back 9 for Lie to Me. I find I am neither surprised nor concerned by this news. (I would totally watch the spinoff where Gillian leaves to go be the SGC psychiatrist, though. I always want SG-1/LtM crossovers, and I think I've finally decided that this is because Gillian could certainly use a supportive, loving, family-type environment where her awesomeness is appreciated, and when I think of supportive, loving, family-type, awesomeness-appreciating environments, I think of Stargate.)
