The dress dummy arrived today, and so I got it put together, and moved the Golden Gown, which has been hanging up since Twelfth Night, onto it. The shoulder height matches mine as closely as I could manage by myself, and I adjusted the dummy to as close a fit as possible by setting it to the right measurements as I had them, then taking the woven ( Read more... )

I've been working on getting my copy of Margrete's golden gown finished so that we can show off Cordelia's patterning skills at the arts display t Twelfth Night. Not happy with the fit of the interview clothes I bought 6 months ago (I may have mentioned that one of the skirts just slid off my hips), I went shopping this morning. (It was "Senior Day" at the Folsom Outlet Malls, with an extra 10% off for those over 50. I have to say that feels weird!)
