Useless... I've been called that for the first time.

Thinking I'm doing a great job, thinking I'm being fair.

I thought I was good at what I do.

But that word echoes in the back of my mind.

Useless...

I can't think of anything more crippling than having that word echo in the back of my mind.

Useless...

Once in a while I stumble upon someone who can't spell worth shit.

Talking to one of these people pisses me off. It hurts me to see sentences start with lower case letters and sentences end without punctuation, so just imagine when someone starts spelling words all fucked up.

I had a fight last night, and I should probably be sad because it means I have a friendship on the rocks.

But I'm so busy keeping up with school and RLS that it really didn't phase me that hard.

The ball is in my court, and I'm tempted to not swing, tennis is just a game, and I don't think I have time for games right now.

I was at the Berg watching a movie with some RLS. I had to leave to make it back to Earp by 9, but it was raining outside. So I took the Walker Complex doors. I think I just heard two cats trying to kill each other under my porch. It was exciting but it also worried me that I would have to clean up a dead cat.

Why the fuck am I awake?

Whenever I finish a book there is usually the same feeling. I feel this profound sadness. These adventures have come to an end and that is something that makes me sad.
This is a perfect example of Buddhism's dukkha as suffering produced by change. I have this wonderful book, this great feeling when I read it, but the book ends and so do my good ( Read more... )
