The Reno trip with Mike was a lot of fun. Safe travel, great company, yummy food, getting addicted to a new game called "Lucky Lemmings," which I usually broke even or came out a bit ahead with (I swear, if that was a PlayStation2 game, I'd never get anything else done).... Maggie is doing really well; and we're extra happy about that, because of all the complications and drama that went on.

She's acting like herself, but even more lively, as she's probably out of the pain she'd been in with those stones for who knows how long. We're trying our best to stop her from getting too playful right now, as we're still ( Read more... )

Maggie came home yesterday afternoon. She's still got a lot going on (leakage, bandages to change, meds to take, etc), but I think she's doing pretty well. She sure seems happy to be back, and we're sure happy to have her back.

Now, the bummer is, I have to leave her for 12 hours today, because this is one of, if not the most important rehearsal ( Read more... )

Maggie swallowed one of my mom's pills [Premarin] yesterday morning (it fell out of a section of her pill case that didn't close right, and hit the floor). We all rushed to the animal hospital, and the vet gave her a shot to make her... expel it, shall we say.
