Well, now Jimmy has a little cold with a sore throat, although thankfully his ears look good. I think he's also teething. He's started putting his index finger to the backs of his mouth, and telling us he has owie in his mouth. The oragel swabs really seemed to work this time. His sleep is so off... Man, I am tired. Tom was out tonight so I had to do everything and I just ran out of steam after the first round of dishes. I swept the floor three times today! I had no idea having kids would make everything so much dirtier. Jimmy's first canine tooth has come in, and already he's sleeping better again. He's talking more, and starting to put words together. Today he got tired of waiting on me and said, "mama go now!". Vacation this year was pretty disappointing. We went to Folly Beach in South Carolina, and it was the whole super-big family reunion thing. Seeing family was nice, but the big problem was that it was 98 degrees plus humidity every day, with a heat index of about 106. I really, really hate teething. Jimmy cried so much this weekend, and he had a fever of 101 on Sunday, I figured it must be an ear infection. I took him to the doctor this morning, and she said, nope, classic teething... diaper rash, drooling, fussiness, night waking, loss of appetite, and low grade fevers. Poor Jimmy. His teeth must be really bothering him. He was super fussy today until I gave him some Advil. Then he perked right up. Same for the end of the day. The only food I could get him to eat for dinner was baby food.

Well, our escrow payment was re-adjusted, so our mortgage payment has gone down by about $120. However, just found out our heating oil budget plan bill is going from $171 to $365 a month. Jimmy's new molars are taking FOREVER to come in. He's getting progressively more upset by it. Yesterday he burst into tears at the restaurant while eating and refused to eat anymore.
