Well, our escrow payment was re-adjusted, so our mortgage payment has gone down by about $120. However, just found out our heating oil budget plan bill is going from $171 to $365 a month. That's nearly double! I just can't catch a break! I don't really need new clothes... I can wear a belt to keep my pants up... At least my grocery bill is under control now. Gonna have to work on all the coupons, though!!! And hopefully the medical bills will go down during the summer - no more ear infections, little dude!!!
We are all healthy in our house. Jimmy had another growth spurt, and I un-rolled some of his 2T pants, and we had to buy him new shoes. He wears a size 7 now. Fortunately I already had a pair of sandals for the beach from a yard sale in that size, so we just had to buy sneakers. His molars are still coming in. The bottom right one is about half way through, the bottom left one has broke the skin, and the top two have now started to break the skin. I just can't wait for teething to be over!
We're night weaning now. No more milk from 11pm until at least 5am. And he's in his own bed in his bedroom now too. For now, we are going in and sitting with him until he falls back asleep. Mandy, who recently night-weaned her 19 month old, said that the baby slept much better after that, but it too about 2 weeks for the new routine to set in. Exhausting!!! But oh so worth it. The first night he cried and cried and cried, like hours and hours each time he woke up. Last night he went to sleep much more quickly in the night, but he still woke up about every 2.5 hours, especially once the Advil wore off. And it is SO MUCH HARDER to deal with a cranky baby at night when you have to get out of bed to do it!!! Teething sucks! But, we're making progress. I don't care if I have to sleep in that twin bed with him for a month. I am done with co-sleeping!!! I had a weak moment, and almost went back to it, but Tom was so happy with the progress we've made, as tired as we are. I hope tonight goes better - I don't know how many more nights I can do this!!!
Speaking of which, better go hop into bed myself so I at least get some sleep!
