Cosmo's at a table, working on a problem set. He's also got some chips, but he hasn't paid them much mind lately.
That would be because an unfortunate side effect of the school year inching toward an end is the difficulty level of the homework increasing exponentially. He could probably do with a distraction.

Partly so the typist can celebrate that he has icons now, Cosmo's at a table, working on yet another problem set. (It's one of the pitfalls of being a math major, but on the whole, he doesn't really mind.)

So Cosmo got pointed toward the computer lab, not long after he got to the inn.
And after gawking for a while, he started poking at things. He hasn't stopped all that often since then - but then, a lot of this stuff is very much beyond his time.
He's still up there poking about. And trying to get over how small most of the computers are.
