The Attack of the Russians - Or Something To That Effect

Feb 05, 2008 21:59

Svetlana has been restless. She's gone through all the usual ways to occupy herself - reading, talking a walk, relaxing with a cup of tea. She's even tried knitting, of all thing. Nothing's helped.

So, in a fit of desperation, she's taken to cooking. There's certainly no way she'll be able to eat everything she's making, but that's alright. No doubt someone will come along and be hungry and when they do? There will be food.

Over in the lobby, Molokov is sitting by the fireplace. The book he was reading has slipped from his grasp and has landed on the floor by his feet. Yes, the unthinkable has happened - he's fallen asleep, in public.

Both are equally botherable.
