So, I got to school about 3 hours before I actually needed to be here in order to turn in my class registration form because I'm scared of the classes I want filling up. Right now I'm supposed to be making a chart of some sort that represents the form of the prelude to Tristan und Isolde. I'm not quite sure how to approach this, but I guess I'm just going to pull out all the leitmotifs color code them. Because really, does Wagner use standard forms? On Monday I went in to tell Louis about my Liberal Arts award thing, and he already knew! He said he had known for weeks but that he wasn't allowed to tell me. He also informed me that I'm the first person ever from the Department of Music and Dance to receive this award, which is neat.
