looooooone staaaaaaaar
I'm taking a little break from movie watching right now. I just watched The Exorcist and am now in the midst of The Bad Seed. Yay!
As of about noon today, I am finished up with my first semester of grad school. What a relief! I've had a rather nasty cold for the past week and a half or so, which made it rather difficult to finish the two papers I had due. But I turned in my paper for Historical Imagination and Medieval Music yesterday and today I did my presentation and turned in my paper for Analytical Techniques.
Analytical Techniques has definitely been my most difficult class this semester, but getting some really harsh comments on a draft I submitted motivated me to meet with my professor several times for my final project. After my presentation today he said that he thought it went really well, and that is a huge relief. You don't even know. Ahh.
Also, here is where I need to thank Shane for helping me get my stuff done. Thanks, Shane. Thane. ^_^
Anyway, I've been celebrating the end of the semester with beer and toaster waffles and movies. Life is pretty good at the moment.
