As some of you know, I had a scare a month ago as I was driving to work. My heart started racing, my chest started burning, and I felt like I might pass out. I pulled in at a convenience store and called 911.

Nope, the car still isn't fixed. Mind you, the car has not been working properly since November 21st. The mechanics are baffled as to what is causing the car to lope, cut back, or stall completely out. A baffled mechanic is not a good thing, and is usually very costly ( Read more... )

Yesterday, I attended my uncle's funeral.  Afterward, the members of his church provided a meal for the family in the fellowship hall. The husband of a cousin  proceeded to begin talking about the election, the end of days, and about how God will work things the way He wants them. So, I have spent the past week with Samantha, getting to know her family. Though I'd been sweating it beforehand, I had a really good time. Getting home was a bit of a pain, however.

After an over 4 hour delay at Chicago's O' Hare airport. I was supposed to be back home at roughly 4:47 last evening. My plane touched down at 8:55 last night. ( Read more... )

 
Callista Ann was born at 11:21pm on New Year’s Eve. She weighed 7lbs1oz and was 20.25 inches long.

After a slow start, 2007 turned into one heck of a wild ride. I've been through many changes this year and they have been all over the spectrum.
